There are 6 divisions in the Coffee Board and their functions of duties are enumerated at Sl.No.1. The respective departments are maintaining the documents connected to their departments.

The Board shall consist of the Chairman, 3 members of Parliament and 29 members representing the Government of States and other interest viz., representing Large Growers, Small Growers, curing establishments, interest of the Labour, interest of the consumers etc. The members of the Board shall be the members of the one or the other statutory committees. In this way, the representation of various interests / public is involved in formulating/implementing the policies of the Board.

The working hour of the Board is 9.30 A.M. to 6.00 P.M.(with Lunch break from 1.30 to 2.00 P.M.) and the Board follows 5 days week system. (Monday to Friday) The Citizens can approach the Board’s offices any time between 9.30 A.M. & 6.00 P.M. for obtaining information. The Library maintained by the Board at Head Office, Bangalore and CCRI are not for public. However on request, general public may get available information with respect to Coffee Board.

Public Information Officers (PIOs)
i) Every public authority to designate as many officers as PIOs in all administrative units or offices under it as necessary to provide information under the Act.,
ii) Every public authority to designate an officer within 100 days of the enactment of the Act, at each sub-divisional level as an Assistant PIO to receive applications for information or appeals under the Act.
iii) PIO can seek assistance of any other officer considered necessary in discharge of his duties.
